NEW ARTIST SEGMENT TO KICK OFF SECOND QUARTER

With a very strong first quarter behind, Hometown Musik shows no sign of slowing down yet. In an all new “ARTIST SEGMENT”, the record label gets personal with its stars.

The series premiering soon on the official YouTube channel will give the audience and the fan base a peak behind the iron curtain.

Every week a resident artist reveals to us the madness behind the scenes, we are invited to understand their process, motivation, dreams and influences.

Artist 7MORE, 2IZZY and TIKO$E would be leading the pack with scheduled interviews expected to drop soon.

Hometown Musik Blog 2izzy drops video for hit single "go down" Following the drop of A KING'S QUEEN short film, 2'izzy releases visuals for his hit song "go down" (Chapter 3) from the album.  Go down has amassed over 50 thousand streams on Spotify, and is among his top songs on the platform as well as on apple music.  The song is a perfect mix of afrobeats and soul music and the video takes the same route.   7MORE AND 2IZZY, A DYNAMIC DUO Throughout music history there have been no short of iconic bands like the Beatles, Fleetwood, Diana and the Supremes, The Jackson Five and legendary Duos such as Sonny and Cher and Daft Punk amongst others. Their music can only be described as a cocktail of magic, talent and chemistry with upbeat rhythm, fresh lyrics and passionate vocals that reverberated from bar to bar, hook to hook and chorus to chorus which in turn made the listener burst with euphoria at the sound of the first note, it feels like “ witchcraft”. Could 7MORE and 2IZZY have cracked the code? Although it would be difficult to measure since they aren’t an actual band, one can’t help but wonder why they mesh so well together. What about them makes the listener hunger and thirst for more? It could be chalked up to raw talent and chemistry but it might be more than that.
