  2022, THE YEAR OF TIKO$E. TIKO$E really came into his own in 2022, with a dazzling array of projects dropped, it was his most active year yet. Earlier in the year dropping smash hit Loose Screws, he topped it off with the release of the much lauded album Good boy, Bad ways. As hinted last year, he has undergone a stunning metamorphosis that has transformed him into a master in his own right. A KING'S QUEEN PART 1 RELEASED NOW AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE. The highly anticipated first part to the A King's Queen the short film has been released. The much lauded album released last year by Hometown Musik artist 2izzy goes visual in this multiple part short film. Directed, produced and edited by  Tyler Roussel, the first part of the short film focused around hit track "Freak of the week", is now available on  YouTube. A KING'S QUEEN, THE SHORT FILM PART 1 SET TO BE RELEASED. RELEASE DATE SET FOR NOVEMBER 24TH. The first part of the highly anticipated short film teased last month is set to be released on the 24th of November. Directed, produced and edited by  Tyler Roussel,  the short film of the highly lauded album released last year will be released in three parts over the course of three months. This project ushers in a new visual era of the Hometown Musik artists, with part 1 focusing on the hit track off the album " A Queen ". More details to follow soon. 2IZZY CONFIRMS NEW RELEASE DATE FOR LOWER BODY. THE HOMETOWNMUSIK ARTIST SLATES OCTOBER 22nd AS NEW RELEASE DATE. First announced 6 months ago, 2IZZY’s new single “LOWER BODY” is set to hit airwaves on the 22nd of October. The track, which has been kept tightly under wraps for months now, is believed to be dedicated to late record label member Mykhel. While fans have been eager to hear from 2izzy for a while, it has been confirmed that the track would not be the last release from the artist in 2022. This year has shaped up to be an excellent year for the A King’s Queen crooner, who released the much lauded remix collection this march. With the short film still yet to be released, the track is positioned as the first song of the artist for the last quarter of 2022, who has several projects lined up to round up the year.

KMULLA CONFIRMS NEW RELEASE DATE MINDSTATE TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 12 Artist Kmulla has recently confirmed the new date for the release of his new track “Mindstate” , the highly anticipated track previously slated for 9th of September has been tagged for an October 12th release. This kicks off the last wave of releases for Hometown Musik entertainment for this year, 2022. Still hot off the heels of the release of teasers for the hotly anticipated A King’s Queen, the short film, the artist has also teased his line up for the rest of the year. More details coming soon.

KMULLA ANNOUNCES NEW TRACK “MINDSTATE” THE ARTIST TEASES EXPLOSIVE NEW SONG TO BE RELEASED ON SEPTEMBER 9 TH Artist Kmulla has announced the release of a new track “Mindstate”, expected to be released in early September. Kicking off the last leg of the third quarter, the artist has revealed his line up for the rest of the year which would be released in the coming weeks. Coming fresh of the heels of the announcement of the A King’s Queen short film, the crooner has hinted a fresh turn for his sound, which has no doubt got fans buzzing. His yet to be revealed line up is rumored to include a long awaited EP, more on that would be communicated soon. This announcement sets off the last set of releases for Hometownmusik for 2022. ​  A KING’S QUEEN, THE SHORT FILM. AN EXHILARATING VISUAL JOURNEY “ Wonderful, stunning and captivating, this short film signals a fresh chapter in the exceptional journey of an artist”. Directed, produced and edited by Tyler Roussel, the short film of the highly lauded album released last year, has been slated for a 31 st of August release according the Hometown Musik management. Following closely with the release of the remix collection earlier this year the anticipated short film teases an intimate and earthy pace to the project which was inspired by the much praised “ Made in Lagos” short film featuring afrobeats megastar Wizkid. Artist 2izzy has let on that the film would be a blend of down to earth moments intertwined with raw unfiltered shots that are designed to be relatable and engaging. TIKOSE TRANSFORMS THE MUNDANE INTO A SPIRITUAL ABUNDANCE ON “NEVER BREAK AGAIN” While it has become somewhat routine for most artists to have a track of similar ilk on their projects, TIKO$E is taking a fresh approach to this usually tackled sub-genre of some sorts. The head bobbing song is a composite of expertly crafted sounds, the plucking of the guitar string introduces the track but is quickly overshadowed by the deep bass enveloping it before peeling back again, and it is svelte, smooth and converges beautifully on the track. Whereas the song employs a somewhat regular and simple formula with the message and overall vibe, it is elevated greatly by the raspy mellow restrained pitch vocals of TIKO$E, adding another layer of melody that blends seamlessly with the steady foot tapping rhythm. With each track, there is a new revelation,that in my opinion is deserving of the praise it so rightfully deserves. Listen:

  THE PROMISE OF REINVENTION, TIKO$E TAKES US ON A RIDE. “Final form”, from the title alone feelings of excitement at drawn parallels hits the eager listeners. On theme with the already noted transformation of TIKO$E on easily his best body of work yet, Final form speaks to the fans directly. A promise of further change and delicious fruits of coming projects tugs at the heartstrings of loyal listeners. The sensual track is laced with promises of a reinvention, as the seductive strumming of the guitar accompany the smooth vocals of TIKO$E, whose confidence shines through on the track. It reads like a prophecy and not a promise as he belts “O Lord this ain’t final form”, a sure fire to the point fact, which I would argue has been apparent since the first notes of the album tore through the air. The rhythm is slow, and meditative, not flashy, with unmistakable hints of BOLERO influence guiding the track as it goes and hard to miss at the drop of the first note, it is somewhat ...

 TIKO$E GOES ELECTRIC ON “WHEN THEY NEED ME”. The strumming of the guitar strings accompanied by the heavy hit of bass, quickly bathes you in the invigorating blend of sounds as the track begins. Good Boy Bad Ways, presents yet another track that solidifies TIKO$E’s transformation hinted in the first track “CONSEQUENCE”. When they need me is a composite of skillfully molded sounds and carefully constructed lyrics belted out in the now signature svelte and smoky voice perfected by TIKO$E.  It builds on the already solid introduction of the previous tracks, and in some ways is reminiscent of the early years of resurgence of Afrobeats in the mid 2010’s. Tantalizing and slow, the track is perfect for cold, dark and trippy moods, there is almost a promise of a highly rewarding pique as you sway and swing to its addicting tunes.   2IZZY LEADS CHARGE INTO SECOND QUARTER THE ARTIST DOUBLES DOWN ON IMPRESSIVE LINE UP FOR THIS QUARTER 2IZZY has dived head on full of confidence into the second quarter of the year, with two confirmed projects “ ON FIRE ft. Noble Newman”, and “LOWER BODY”. Undoubtedly this line has fans buzzing in anticipation. The former is pegged for an April 29 th release, while the release details about the latter is still being kept tightly under wraps by the team but anticipation has been building steadily. This comes off the heels of the massive success of the “ A KING’S QUEEN (REMIX COLLECTION)”, which was confirmed to cross the 10,000 mark on all streaming platforms, an impressive feat considering that the original album released last year 2021 is well on its way to crossing the 1 million mark, no small feat but well deserved for an excellent body of work. With April one day away, Hometownmusik bows out in a spectacular way, with big time projects, signings and upcoming releases. With the recent announcements of the “ROCKY TRIPS (CHAP REMIX)” and “ON FIRE” releases coming up, this first quarter has proven to be such an eventful and strong start to an action packed year which is still unfolding. Not to be forgotten the much lauded remix collection to A KING’S QUEEN surpassed the 10,000 stream milestone last month at a commendable speed, all thanks to the ever growing base of listeners. As the second quarter winds up, we can tell fans that it is going to be a bumpy ride and there is a lot more to come as the year rolls on.

  7MORE AND 2IZZY, A DYNAMIC DUO Throughout music history there have been no short of iconic bands like the Beatles, Fleetwood, Diana and the Supremes, The Jackson Five and legendary Duos such as Sonny and Cher and Daft Punk amongst others. Their music can only be described as a cocktail of magic, talent and chemistry with upbeat rhythm, fresh lyrics and passionate vocals that reverberated from bar to bar, hook to hook and chorus to chorus which in turn made the listener burst with euphoria at the sound of the first note, it feels like “ witchcraft”. Could 7MORE and 2IZZY have cracked the code? Although it would be difficult to measure since they aren’t an actual band, one can’t help but wonder why they mesh so well together.   A KING’S QUEEN (REMIX COLLECTION) SUPRASSES 10,000 STREAMS ACROSS ALL MAJOR PLATFORMS THE REMIX COLLECTION CROSSED THE 10,000 STREAMS THRESHOLD THIS WEEKEND. The much lauded remix collection which was released last month has been confirmed to have crossed 10,000 streams across all major platforms. The milestone comes after the announcement of two new projects, “ CHAP (remix) and On Fire” , both expected to be released this month. HOMETOWN MUSIK ANNOUNCES NEXT SINGLE “ON FIRE” FT  NOBLE NEWMAN & 2IZZY. SINGLE SET TO HIT AIRWAVES ON THE 29th  OF APRIL. Newcomer Noble Newman and 2izzy have teamed up for single “On Fire” set to be released on the 31 st of this month we can exclusively confirm. Fresh off the heels of the release of the remix collection last month, it has been announced that 2izzy is teaming up with Noble Newman on the single. Noble Newman who is fresh on the scene has steadily been working on his sound, which can be described as distinctive, fresh and urban.
