HIT THE NOTE: GOOD BOY BAD WAYS, AN ALBUM REVIEW PART 1
TIKO$E SENDS WAVES OF NOSTALGIA WITH “CONSEQUENCE”.
The release of the highly lauded “Good Boy, Bad Ways” by
resident artist TIKO$E, confirmed what we had been suspecting for a while now.
There is a new version of Tiko$e in town and a metamorphosis is happening right
before our eyes or should I say “EARS”, and I suggest that we all get with the
programme.
As the first note swiftly cuts through the air, it is
immediately familiar and nostalgic. There is a lingering feeling of the wet and
chaotic summer of 2016 dancing throughout the track; the rhythm evokes eerily
similar feelings to the smash hit “One dance” by Drake.
The rhythm is fast paced, carefree and addicting, and each
time TIKO$E’s voice comes up it is nothing sort of seductive and enthralling,
drawing you in and daring you to stop dancing. There is an immediate feeling of
euphoria with each note bouncing off the speakers, each lyric clear and
perfectly enunciated, make no mistake this is a highly superior track in his
discography.
Serving as an introduction to the album, it is a complete
song that hints not only to an impeccable album but a fresh voice by TIKO$E.
