 HOMETOWN MUSIK CLOSES FIRST QUARTER WITH A BANG HOMETOWNMUSIK ENTERTAINMENT EXITS THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2022 ON A STRONG NOTE. With April one day away, Hometownmusik bows out in a spectacular way, with big time projects, signings and upcoming releases. With the recent announcements of the “ROCKY TRIPS (CHAP REMIX)” and “ON FIRE” releases coming up, this first quarter has proven to be such an eventful and strong start to an action packed year which is still unfolding. Not to be forgotten the much lauded remix collection to A KING’S QUEEN surpassed the 10,000 stream milestone last month at a commendable speed, all thanks to the ever growing base of listeners. As the second quarter winds up, we can tell fans that it is going to be a bumpy ride and there is a lot more to come as the year rolls on.

  BLACK HISTORY MONTH: A CELEBRATION OF BLACK INFLUENCE AND EXPERIENCE. THE IMPORTANCE OF THE BLACK EXPERIENCE AND INFLUENCE Every year we celebrate Black history month, starting on the 1 st of February and ending on the 1 st of March, it is a month set aside for the celebration of the influence of black people worldwide and through the centuries. It is an ode to our ancestors who had to grovel and struggle so we can have a rightly deserved seat at the table, it shines a light on the black experience and how we have consistently benefitted from it. This month we are all encouraged to reflect on our identity and how we influence the world around us for as long as we exist.
